What happens when I have finished my apprenticeship?

Once you have finished your apprenticeship and achieved your qualification, it depends on the contract you have with your employer on whether or not you stay with the company.

If you are on an apprenticeship contract, there may be an opportunity to stay at the same company and progress to the next level apprenticeship (upskilling).

Most apprentices are hired as permanent team members, so they continue their role as normal once they completed their apprenticeship.

You can also branch out and find a new job. Finding a new job can be daunting, especially after just completing an apprenticeship. Look around and see if there are any similar roles available and put together your updated CV with your new qualification(s) that you can use to approach new potential employers.
