Stress Awareness Month 2020

Every April since 1992 Stress Awareness Month has been running in a bid to increase public awareness of both the causes and treatments for stress. Stress is damaging to our health and well-being and millions around the UK experience it. According to the Mental Health Foundation, at some point in the last year, 74% of us have felt so stressed that we have felt unable to cope.

Stress can be the major drive behind mental health problems such as depression and anxiety. Reducing stress is important and therefore, Stress Awareness Month can help to understand what is causing us personal stress and share ways to combat it.
