The framework is designed to meet the needs of any Youth Organisation of any size across all sectors for example; charities, councils and schools.
Whether they perceive a need within the organisation to up skill existing staff or have a requirement to employ new talent to assist and enhance the current workforce.
Tasks undertaken will vary depending on the level, and the sector in which the apprentice is employed.

Who should do this apprenticeship:
As a youth worker you need to be keen to work with young people. Youth workers help young people reach their potential, they help young people become more confident, learn new
skills and cope with issues in their lives.
Requirements:
Learners are required to complete a Level 2 Functional Skills in English Maths and ICT if they do not already hold these or similar qualifications. The qualification also includes Employment
Rights and Responsibilities as an included unit.
Progression Opportunities:
The Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work Practice (QCF) is the minimum qualification required for those wishing to work as a Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) qualified Youth
Support Worker Assistant. This is for employees who assist in the delivery of operational youth work and who undertake duties under direction, where initiative and independent action is limited.

What support do learners receive?
Online Learning
Our programme is developed with a blended approach giving apprentices support in both the workplace alongside online learning resources to support their development.
Apprentices are provided with their own unique portal they can access to upload their work and receive feedback from their assessor.
Access to a vast amount of learning support materials that can be accessed at any time so they can make the most of their face to face training.
Dedicated Tutor Support
RM Training assessors support apprentices throughout the programme, provide a single point of contact for any questions or help your apprentice needs and help apprentices to build their portfolio as the programme progresses.
Meet apprentices and their managers regularly in the workplace to check their progress and provide support where required.
Entry Requirements
Apprentices must not hold a level 4 or university degree, must be 16 or over by the end of the summer holidays and must have lived in the EU/EEA for the last three years.
