About The Course

The Learning & Development Practitioner Level 3 apprenticeship equips individuals with the essential skills and knowledge to support the learning and development function within an organisation. This programme is ideal for those responsible for identifying learning needs, designing and delivering training, and evaluating the impact of learning solutions.

Delivered over a period of 15 months, the apprenticeship combines workplace training with expert guidance and support, enabling learners to apply their knowledge in real workplace scenarios. Upon completion, apprentices will be well equipped to contribute effectively to workforce development and organisational performance.

Entry Requirements

This apprenticeship is suitable for:

✅ Those currently working in, or aspiring to work in, a learning and development, training, or people development role across any sector
✅ Individuals in a relevant position where they can design, deliver, or support learning activities within the workplace
Candidates with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (if not already achieved, Functional Skills support is available)
Employees looking to build confidence and expertise in training delivery, learning design, and evaluating learning outcomes

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for apprenticeship funding, learners must:

✅ Be aged 16 or over
✅ Be employed in a relevant role for at least 30 hours per week
✅ Have the right to work in England and have been resident in the UK/EEA for at least 3 years (some exceptions apply)
✅ Not already hold a similar qualification at the same or higher level
