BRITISH VALUES
Promoting Fundamental British Values at RM Training
As part of the Prevent strategy, RM Training actively promote Fundamental British Values, ensuring our learners develop an understanding of the principles that underpin life in modern Britain. These values help create an inclusive, respectful, and democratic society where everyone can contribute positively.
At RM Training, these principles align with our own values and the occupational areas we support. They will be embedded throughout your Apprenticeship programme, actively promoted by our staff and incorporated into your learning experience.
The Fundamental British Values are:
✅ Democracy – Encouraging participation, shared decision-making, and understanding individual rights and responsibilities.
✅ Rule of Law – Recognising the importance of laws and rules in maintaining a safe, fair, and structured society.
✅ Respect & Tolerance – Embracing diversity, respecting different cultures, faiths, and beliefs, and challenging discrimination.
✅ Individual Liberty – Understanding personal rights, freedoms, and responsibilities while respecting the rights of others.
