What will I be doing?

The level 2 business administration apprenticeship is designed to allow you to complete your qualification with a number of different administrative roles in mind. This includes receptionists, junior finance administrators, junior legal secretaries, administrative support within schools and roles that involve digital marketing and social media.

The qualification will allow you to develop skills that are needed to be successful within an administrative role. You will be assisted and guided through both teaching and learning sessions and on the job training. Your qualification will be made up of a variety of different modules that will be tailored to fit the role that you will be taking within your company. The modules include:

  • Organising business travel and accommodation.
  • Organising events
  • Using a telephone and voicemail system.
  • Learning a variety of software packages that are essential to the everyday role.
  • Providing administrative support for meetings.

What Qualifications will I achieve?

You will achieve a level 2 Certificate in Business Administration, and if it is required, you can achieve level 2 Functional Skills qualifications in Mathematics, English and ICT. You will need to provide proof of your existing qualifications so that we can assess your eligibility to take part in functional skills.

What are the entry requirements?

As with all apprenticeships the only entry requirements are that you have lived withing the EU for the last 3 years and can demonstrate a basic ability with Maths and English.

It is of course important that you are passionate and have a drive to work within the industry that you are completing your qualification in.

What can I do afterwards?

Because of the variety of units that can be covered in this qualification you will be prepared to move onto a variety of roles within alot of industrys.

Most companies require some for of administrative support, from large to small.
